Nautical Life 2 is a role-playing game that places you in command of a small fishing vessel, tasked with transforming it into a legendary seafaring enterprise. You start with a single boat, a handful of supplies, and a vast, procedurally generated ocean. Your goal is not just to fish, but to trade, craft, explore, and fight your way to becoming the most powerful captain in the region. This is a game of resource management, strategic expansion, and real-time naval combat.

Core Gameplay Systems

• Fleet Management System: Assign crew roles (Captain, Navigator, Gunner, Quartermaster) to each ship. Each role has a unique skill tree that unlocks passive bonuses, such as increased cargo hold capacity or improved cannon reload speed. You can directly control ship movement and combat from a third-person perspective, or switch to a tactical overhead view for fleet-wide commands.

• Dynamic Economy & Trading: Every port has its own supply and demand prices for 30+ trade goods (e.g., Rum, Spices, Silk, Cannonballs). Prices fluctuate based on your actions, pirate raids, and random events. Use a real-time market chart to spot profitable routes. Buy low in one port, sell high in another, and invest in trade licenses to unlock premium goods.

• Ship Customization & Crafting: You can build and modify ships from the hull up. Choose from 5 hull types (Sloop, Brig, Galleon, Frigate, Man-o'-War). Install upgrade modules (e.g., Copper Plating for speed, Reinforced Sails for durability, Cannon Batteries for firepower). Craft consumables like repair kits, smoke screens, and grappling hooks using resources gathered from fishing and scavenging wreck sites.

• Procedural World & Exploration: The map generates a new archipelago with every new game. Explore uncharted islands to find hidden treasure maps, abandoned settlements, and rare crafting materials. Use a sextant and compass to navigate without a minimap, relying on celestial navigation for depth. Discover sea monsters, whirlpools, and floating derelicts that offer unique loot.
