Loop Hero is a roguelike deckbuilder where you shape the very landscape your hero traverses. Instead of directly controlling combat, you place tiles—forests, mountains, vampire mansions—on a looping path. Each tile modifies the environment, spawns enemies, and unlocks new resources. The hero automatically fights through each loop, but your strategic tile placement determines whether they survive or crumble.

Core Mechanics & Tools

• Tile Placement System: Drag and drop terrain cards from your hand onto the loop. Forests increase attack speed, mountains boost max HP, and vampire mansions heal the hero after each kill. Each tile type has unique synergy with others.
• Auto-Battler Loop: Your hero circles the path automatically, engaging enemies on each tile. You cannot control movement or attacks directly. Instead, you manage equipment, resources, and tile placement between loops.
• Resource Management: Collect materials from defeated enemies and destroyed tiles. Use them to build camp structures in the hub area—blacksmiths, alchemists, and supply depots that grant permanent bonuses across runs.
• Class System: Unlock three distinct classes—Warrior, Rogue, and Necromancer. Each class has unique mechanics: the Rogue gains bonus loot from kills, the Necromancer summons skeletons to fight alongside them.
• Progressive Difficulty Scaling: Each loop increases enemy stats and spawn rates. You must balance risk and reward—placing too many dangerous tiles early can overwhelm the hero, while too few leaves you underpowered for later loops.
• Camp Building Mode: Outside the loop, construct permanent structures that unlock new cards, increase resource caps, and provide passive bonuses. This meta-progression persists across all runs.
• Pause & Tactical Menu: Halt the action at any time to inspect equipment, rearrange tiles, or craft resources. No real-time pressure—all decisions are turn-based.
