Core Gameplay Mechanics

This is a turn-based role-playing game where strategy trumps raw power. You assemble a squad of up to five characters from a roster of over 40 Kung Fu masters, each with unique class archetypes (Vanguard, Striker, Healer, Controller). Battles unfold on a 3x3 grid, and you must position your team to maximize area-of-effect attacks and defensive buffs. Chi is your primary resource: it recharges passively each turn, and you spend it to activate signature moves like Po’s Wuxi Finger Hold or Tigress’s Furious Combo.

• Elemental Affinity System: Five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) create a rock-paper-scissors damage loop. A Fire Vanguard deals +30% damage to Metal enemies but takes extra damage from Water opponents. You must analyze enemy lineups before each battle and swap your team composition on the fly.
• Chi Skill Tree: Each character has a branching upgrade path. For example, Po can specialize in Chi Shield (defensive), Chi Burst (offensive), or Chi Harmony (support). You can reset the tree for free once per day, encouraging experimentation.
