EvoPop is a real-time strategy game where you control a population of evolving creatures called "Poppies." Each Poppy starts with a basic attack and movement pattern. As they survive battles, they gain experience points that unlock genetic mutations. You can manually assign these mutations to create specialized units: a melee tank with thick armor, a ranged sniper with poison darts, or a support healer that regenerates nearby allies. The battlefield is a hexagonal grid where terrain (forests, swamps, ruins) affects movement speed and attack range. You can issue group commands, set waypoints, and activate special abilities with a single tap. The key innovation: your Poppies retain their mutations between battles, building a persistent, customized army across missions.
