About game Dream Family
A Lost Key, A Mysterious Mansion, A Family to Reunite
You unlock the creaking gate of an old Victorian mansion, only to find it’s your childhood home—but it’s frozen in time, and your family is scattered across its many rooms. Each room is a locked puzzle, and each puzzle holds a memory piece that brings a family member back. Dream Family turns match-3 mechanics into a narrative-driven restoration journey, where every solved level rebuilds not just a house, but the relationships inside it.
Core Gameplay Mechanics
The game operates on a classic bubble-pop foundation, but layers it with persistent progression systems. You control a cannon at the bottom of the screen, aiming colored bubbles at a descending ceiling of matching clusters. Each successful pop clears the ceiling and adds score points, but the real objective is collecting “Memory Shards” that appear after clearing certain bubble formations.
- Bubble Cannon with Angle Lock: The cannon snaps to 45-degree increments, allowing precise aiming without micro-adjustments. A trajectory arc shows the bounce path off side walls, helping you plan bank shots for hard-to-reach clusters.
- Memory Shard Collection System: Every 15th cleared bubble in a level releases a golden shard. Collecting three shards in a single level unlocks a “Family Photo” fragment, which directly contributes to restoring a character portrait in the mansion’s main hall.
- Room-by-Room Progression: The mansion contains 12 themed rooms (Kitchen, Library, Attic, Garden, etc.). Each room has 30–40 levels, and completing all levels in a room unlocks a cutscene that reunites one family member. The cutscenes are voiced and animate the character returning to their designated spot in the house.
- Power-Up Crafting Station: Between levels, you can combine two identical power-ups (e.g., Fire Bubble + Fire Bubble) into a “Super Charge” that clears a 3x3 area. The station has a visual progress bar showing your current inventory and crafting cooldown (5 minutes per craft).
- Daily Challenge Mode: A separate set of 5 levels refreshes every 24 hours. These levels have “Frozen Bubbles” that require two hits to pop, and completing all five awards a “Golden Key” that unlocks a bonus chest in the mansion’s foyer.
Key Advantages
- No Time Pressure: All levels are turn-based with unlimited thinking time. The only countdown is the “Bubble Ceiling” descending one row every 10 seconds, but it pauses during aiming. This removes anxiety for casual players while still providing urgency for completionists.
- Visual Feedback on Every Action: When you pop a cluster, each bubble emits a soft glow and a satisfying “chime” sound that increases in pitch with cluster size. The screen also shakes slightly on large combos (6+ bubbles), giving tactile feedback without being disorienting.
- Offline Play with Auto-Sync: The entire game (including daily challenges) works offline. Progress auto-syncs to cloud when internet is available, so you never lose a level sequence. The sync icon in the top corner shows a green checkmark when saved.
- Accessibility Options: Colorblind mode replaces bubble colors with distinct geometric patterns (circles, triangles, squares). Font size can be increased by 200% in the settings menu, and the “Power-Up” button can be moved to either side of the screen for left-handed play.
- Battery-Optimized Engine: The game runs at a locked 30 FPS to conserve battery on older devices (Android 7.1+). The frame rate only drops to 24 FPS during complex particle effects (e.g., when a Super Charge explodes), but the engine prioritizes smooth input response over visual fidelity.
We suggest trying Dream Family if you enjoy narrative-driven puzzles with persistent progression. You might appreciate the balance of casual bubble-pop mechanics with a story that rewards completion.
