Core Gameplay Mechanics

Combo Rush delivers a streamlined yet deep combat system built around combo chaining and resource management. Every hero has a basic attack string, two special abilities, and an ultimate move. The key is in how you link them:

• Chain System: Landing hits fills a combo meter. Once full, you can spend the meter to activate a "Chain Boost" — a temporary damage multiplier that stacks with each subsequent hit within a 3-second window.
• Cancel Mechanics: You can cancel the end-lag of any basic attack into a special ability, and cancel any special ability into a dodge roll. This allows for aggressive pressure or defensive escapes without losing your combo meter.
• Elemental Resonance: Each hero belongs to one of five elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Void). Hitting an enemy with two different elemental abilities in a single combo triggers a Resonance Burst — a small AoE explosion that applies a debuff (burn, slow, armor break, etc.).

• Boss Gauntlet: A sequence of five unique bosses, each with specific attack patterns and weak points. You must defeat them in order without dying. Each boss has a "break bar" that fills when you land combos; breaking it stuns the boss and opens a damage window.
• Duel Mode: Real-time PvP against other players. Both fighters start with equal stats. The match is decided purely by combo execution and defensive reads. No pay-to-win gear — only skill.
