About game Cat Tower
Your phone is a cat café. Your job is to stack it.
Every cat has a gravity score. Every placement changes the physics. You are not building a tower. You are building a stability matrix with feline variables. One wrong tilt and the whole colony slides off the screen.
Core Mechanics
The game operates on a real-time physics engine with collision detection and mass-based stacking logic. Each cat is a separate entity with individual weight, hitbox radius, and surface friction values. You place them one by one. The tower stays up only if the center of mass remains above the base platform.
- Weight distribution system: every cat shifts the balance
- Tilt sensor: screen angle affects tower stability
- Cat collision zones: overlapping hitboxes cause chain reactions
- Scoring algorithm: height multiplier × stability bonus
Available Tools
You have three placement modes. Each mode changes the stacking physics.
Placement Mode: Drop
Cats fall straight down. Adjust the horizontal position before release. The drop height determines impact force. Higher drops increase the chance of toppling.
Placement Mode: Slide
Cats slide from the edge. Set the launch angle and speed. The cat travels along a parabolic arc until it contacts an existing cat surface. This mode allows precise edge stacking.
Placement Mode: Stack Assist
Cats snap to the nearest stable position on the top layer. The algorithm calculates the optimal contact point based on the current tower's center of mass. This mode reduces manual error but limits score potential.
Scoring System
Score = Tower Height (in cat units) × Stability Multiplier
Stability Multiplier starts at 1.0 and decreases by 0.1 for every cat that is not in direct contact with the base or a cat that is in contact with the base. Cats in mid-air or resting on unstable surfaces reduce the multiplier.
- Base cats: full stability value
- Mid-tier cats: 0.8 stability
- Top cats: 0.6 stability
- Floating cats: 0.0 stability (counts as fail condition)
Game Modes
Classic Mode
Endless stacking. No time limit. The game ends when any cat hits the ground. Score resets after each tower collapse. High score is saved locally.
Timed Mode
60 seconds on the clock. Place as many cats as possible. The tower must remain standing at the end of the timer. Collapse during the countdown ends the round early.
Challenge Mode
Pre-set cat sequences. Each level has a specific cat type and placement order. Complete the sequence without the tower falling. Three stars per level based on final height.
Visual Feedback System
The game provides real-time visual cues for tower stability.
- Green outline: tower is stable (center of mass within base)
- Yellow outline: tower is leaning (center of mass near edge)
- Red outline: tower is critical (center of mass outside base)
- Flashing red: tower is falling (cats are in motion)
Performance Optimizations
The game runs at 60 FPS on devices with 2 GB RAM or more. On lower-spec devices, the physics engine automatically reduces cat collision checks to 30 FPS. The visual quality adjusts based on GPU capability.
- Battery usage: low (no constant Wi-Fi or GPS)
- Storage size: 45 MB base install
- Loading time: under 3 seconds on modern devices

Technical disclaimer: This game requires an internet connection for initial download and periodic content updates. Contains in-app purchases for cosmetic cat skins and stability boosters. Not suitable for children under 7 years due to mild cartoon violence (cat collisions). Data usage: minimal (under 5 MB per hour of play). Compatible with Android 5.0 and above. Game uses device sensors (accelerometer) for tilt-based placement mode.
