About game Azedeem
The Last Stand of the Shattered Kingdoms
You are a commander in the war-torn land of Azedeem. Your squad of heroes is outnumbered, outgunned, and facing a tide of monstrous enemies. One wrong move, one misplaced hero, and your entire campaign is lost. This is not a game of grinding—it is a game of precision. Every turn, every action, every inch of movement must be calculated. The battle system is a direct descendant of the legendary Heroes of Might and Magic, but here, the stakes are higher: you command not armies, but a small, elite squad of heroes. Each hero is a unique weapon, and you must learn to wield them all.
Battle System: Turn-Based Tactical Combat
The core of Azedeem is its turn-based combat, which operates on a strict sequence of movement and action. Each hero on your team can move a set number of tiles and perform one action per turn. The action can be an attack, a spell, or a defensive maneuver. The defensive move, when chosen, reduces incoming damage during the enemy’s next turn. This creates a risk-reward dynamic: do you push forward to deal damage, or hunker down and weather the storm?
- Movement Ranges: Each hero class has a distinct movement range. Melee fighters can move 3–4 tiles, while ranged units and mages have shorter movement but longer attack reach.
- Action Types: Standard attack, ranged attack, spellcasting, and defensive stance. Spells consume mana, which regenerates slowly between turns.
- Turn Order: Determined by hero initiative stats. Faster heroes act first, allowing you to set up combos or disrupt enemy formations.
Hero Management and Progression
Between battles, you manage your roster of heroes. Each hero starts with two basic abilities, but as you level them up, you unlock additional special abilities. Some of these abilities are devastating area-of-effect spells, while others are single-target buffs or debuffs. The progression system is linear but deep: each level grants a stat boost to health, attack, defense, or speed, and you can choose which ability to unlock next from a branching skill tree.
- Stat Upgrades: Health, Attack, Defense, Speed, Mana. Each point makes a tangible difference in combat.
- Ability Unlocks: Up to 8 abilities per hero at max level. Abilities are class-specific and include crowd control, healing, and damage amplification.
- Resource Management: Gold and experience points are earned from battles. Gold is used to recruit new heroes or purchase equipment. Experience is shared among your active roster.
Single-Player Campaign and PvP Mode
The single-player campaign contains over 40 levels, each with escalating enemy difficulty. You will face new enemy types, including armored knights, flying creatures, and spellcasting bosses. The campaign is designed to teach you the mechanics gradually, then test your mastery in later stages. Beyond the campaign, the PvP mode allows you to battle other players’ hero teams in asynchronous matches. Winning PvP battles increases your rank on the global leaderboard, which is updated in real-time.
- Campaign Structure: 40+ levels across 5 regions. Each region has a unique biome and enemy set.
- PvP Matchmaking: Based on your team’s total power level. Matches are turn-based and non-real-time, so you can take your time.
- Leaderboard: Top 100 players are displayed. Rewards are distributed weekly based on rank.
Visual Design and Hero Variety
The game features a high-fantasy art style with detailed character models and vibrant spell effects. There are over 20 unlockable heroes, each with a distinct visual design and ability set. Heroes are categorized into classes: Warrior, Archer, Mage, Healer, and Assassin. Each class has a unique role in combat, and you can mix and match them to create synergies. For example, placing a Healer behind a Warrior creates a durable frontline, while an Archer and Mage provide ranged support.
