Your mission is clear: fight through a series of handcrafted dungeons, defeat every enemy in your path, and ultimately reach the surface to save the kingdom. Core Gameplay Mechanics

The combat system in Aldarix the Battlemage operates on a simultaneous-turn basis. When you move Aldarix to a new tile, every enemy on the screen also moves one tile. This creates a constant state of tension and requires forward planning. If you move onto a tile occupied by an enemy, you initiate an attack. However, if the enemy has high health points or if you are surrounded by multiple foes, you will also receive damage. The game provides a wide range of spells to help you escape even the most difficult situations, making resource management a key skill.
