Core Mixing Engine & Channel Control

The application provides direct, low-latency control over all 16 input channels and 4 FX return channels on the connected X AIR hardware. Each channel strip offers a complete processing chain: a 4-band fully parametric EQ with high-pass filter, a noise gate with adjustable threshold and release, and a compressor with ratio, attack, and knee controls. The faders are touch-responsive with real-time visual feedback, allowing you to mix multiple channels simultaneously. The app supports up to 100 meters of reliable wireless range using standard Wi-Fi infrastructure, eliminating the need for a dedicated router in most venue configurations.

FX Rack & Dynamic Processing

The integrated FX rack features 4 independent stereo processors with 8 studio-grade algorithms. You can load a Hall Reverb on the snare, a Plate Reverb on the vocals, a Chorus on the keys, and a Delay on the lead guitar—all simultaneously. Each effect includes dedicated pre-delay, decay time, and damping parameters. The app also provides a 9-band graphic EQ on the main output bus and a 6-band graphic EQ on each of the 6 auxiliary buses, giving you precise room correction and monitor mixing capabilities. The tap-tempo function syncs delays and modulations instantly to the song's beat.

Scene Management & Remote Control

X AIR stores up to 100 complete scenes, including all fader positions, EQ curves, FX settings, and routing assignments. You can recall a scene with a single tap, enabling seamless transitions between songs or set lists. The app supports full scribble strip editing, allowing you to rename channels with custom labels. The mute group and DCA (Digitally Controlled Amplifier) group functions let you control multiple channels with a single fader movement. The app also provides a spectrum analyzer on the main output for visual frequency monitoring.
