Material Audiobook Player is a free, open-source application designed for playing audiobooks on Android smartphones and tablets. The interface prioritizes clarity and ease of use, featuring both a light (day) theme and a dark (night) theme for comfortable viewing in different lighting conditions.

Initial Setup and Library Management

Upon first launch, the app prompts you to select a folder containing your audiobook files. This folder selection can also be configured later through the settings menu, offering flexibility in how you organize your audio library. The main tab displays cover art thumbnails for all books detected in the designated folder. Tapping any cover initiates playback immediately, with no additional steps required.
