Core Telemetry & System Monitoring
The app connects to JK BMS hardware via BLE 4.0+ or local Wi-Fi network. Once paired, the main screen displays a live overview of your entire battery bank: total pack voltage, current draw (positive for discharge, negative for charge), state of charge (SOC) in percentage, and remaining capacity in amp-hours. Below that, a scrollable list shows every individual cell voltage in your series string—accurate to ±0.005V. You can sort cells by voltage, flag outliers, and set custom high/low alarms that trigger a notification on your phone before the BMS initiates a protective disconnect.
Parameter Configuration & Calibration
Beyond monitoring, JK BMS gives you write access to the BMS’s internal parameters—no laptop required. Adjust charge/discharge current limits, cell over-voltage protection thresholds, low-temperature cutoff, and balancing start voltage. The app includes a step-by-step wizard for initial setup based on your battery chemistry (LiFePO4, NMC, LTO, etc.), but advanced users can override every value manually. You can switch between units in under a second without re-pairing, and the app maintains separate parameter profiles per device. This is critical for balancing loads across parallel strings or verifying that all packs are tracking the same SOC during charge/discharge cycles.
